cRaZy!

I don't know what I was thinking the other day. I was on my way home and thought it wouldn't be a too big a deal to run into Porter's and grab some ribbon and buttons. I usually don't like to go to stores like this one with kids, there are just too many things they like to touch that are extremely breakable... Well we did pretty good getting the ribbon, Emme stayed in the cart, Lucie was sleeping of course and Gracee walked nicely by my side. It was when we got to the button bin to pick out some buttons that I began to regret coming!
Gracee actually stayed really focused the entire time searching for every pink and purple button she could find.
She filled the whole bag and I let her get the buttons just because she picked every single one and was so excited about them.
It was Emme that had me running... She dug her hands through the bin for a few minutes and filled a bag and spilled some buttons. Half way through finding buttons she had to go to the bathroom so the four of us had to go downstairs to the bathroom. Eventually we made it back to the buttons and finished getting the ones we needed. Every time I took my eyes off of Emme she was in a new spot of the fabric section dumping out her buttons and putting them back in her bag. Gracee and I spent a few minutes searching the floor for stray buttons so we didn't leave a big mess:).
After what seemed like a really long button search we headed to the check out. I then realized that my wallet was not in the diaper bag but in my car... I was going to take all of my girls out to the car (in the rain) with me to get my wallet but the nice lady at the check out said they could just stand by her (and the section of toys:) So while I ran to get my wallet they played with the stuffed animals. (I know Olivia, I am lucky no one kidnapped my girls but if I lived anywhere else and the lady wasn't a nice sixteen year old I wouldn't have left them.)
The errand that would have taken me 10 or 15 minutes by myself took the four of us an hour. We were all a little tired out! Will I go with kids again to a craft store (maybe when I forget this cRaZy trip) and I will definitely take my camera AND my wallet along as well!

Love that you documented this with your camera! Your girls are going to love reading about it one day! Just think someday you'll be walking around a craft store searching for the perfect "cousin crafty" project to do with them! They won't stay little forever:( Oh! and can I just say I LOVE that EMME has shed her shoes! Definitely her daddy's little girl!
