Twilight

Last week I finally started the twilight series... I couldn't put the first two books down and hate to admit that I let Gracee and Emme run wild for two days. Grace watched one too many episodes of Dora and Emme ruined my favorite tube of lipstick (lucky for me I had changed her diaper and hadn't gotten her dressed for the morning, I was just going to read two more pages but two turned into ten). So when I found her watching Dora in the living room she had painted herself and was laughing I couldn't be mad at her and I couldn't help but laugh too.


Between books we took breaks... I took them to the splash park and they were glad to get out:)

Also Grandma Rooney came over and gave them some much needed attention:)



As for the third book in the series I am only reading it when my girls are asleep, so its going to take a little longer.

My Birthday...

I just wanted to say Thank-you to all my friends and family that called me on my Birthday! I have the greatest friends and I love all my family!!! It was so good to talk to you all and I feel so loved that you all thought of me on my special day!
I got my hair cut and colored, planted flowers in my front yard, went to the park with Ruffin and my girls, ate a very yummy dinner on our birthday plate, watched American Idol and National Treasurer 2. Whew, what a day, I feel so blessed by all the calls, loaf of bread from my neighbor and special treatment from my husband and girls!!!
Grace and Emme gave me one million birthday hugs and kisses which totally made my day!!! When Gracee woke up and Ruffin told her to tell me happy birthday she did and then she said very sadly "mommy, it your birthday and I not get you anysing." She was relieved when Ruffin explained to her that she went in on the camera for me:) Thank-you Ruffin, Gracee and Emme for the great birthday present, I am SO excited!!!!
