Easter Fairy

Since Gracee doesn't really like the Easter Bunny I told her the Easter Fairy would drop off the basket from the Easter Bunny... So on Saturday while we were at the Easter egg hunt at Broulims (the one at the high school seemed much too cold) the Easter Fairy visited our house and left two baskets full of eggs, some books about Easter, and a couple other small toys. Both Emme and Gracee were excited. Emme was a little groggy but she enjoyed eating the one candy egg I let her eat:) Gracee had fun going around and finding all the eggs that were hid in the living room, she filled her little basket and showing me that it was overflowing she said, "too many eggs mommy." Maybe next year Emme can get her share in her basket:)
Gracee's shocked face in the bottom picture is the face she pulled everytime she opened an egg with a few coins in it. After she opened all her eggs Grandma Rooney came over and gave her a big Easter egg and inside was a $5 bill which was the best shocked face of them all!:)
Emme was so cute, she just sat by her basket for a minute and then once she realized that there was a few pieces of candy and some other fun things she got more excited.

I love Gracee's "shocked" look - it's classic! I don't think I'll ever get over how much that little girl loves money!

So cute, your girls are adorable as always. I still can't wait to see how the easter dresses turned out.

It'll be interesting to see how it turns out when Emme is old enough to compete with Gracee to find the eggs.

I hope you told Gracee that the "Easter Fairy" brought Lilly her basket. I wouldn't want her to have the thought that the creepy Wal-Mart Hare has ever been to my house (she may not want to visit us). Although Sunday when she asked if she could visit I told her if she came now we'd go swimming.

Oh liz, you know Gracee gets her "shocked face" from you. You do the same thing. I remember the first time I saw the both of you do it at the same time...it was funny.
I think it's so cute how girly your girls are. We should really move back there because there are just too many boys around me!
