Yesterday as I was driving home from Idaho Falls, I began
to sing Book of Mormon Stories to Gracee when she said
"Mommy, stop." Then she proceeded to tell me "Mommy,
Jesus Christ help me be better." I had to have her repeat it
it a couple of times before I could understand it but it
warmed my heart.
I was thinking of where she could have
come up with that and decided it has to be from what we
say in our prayers... I came to a conclusion for that but I have no
idea where she came up with what she said next... When
we got home we went downstairs to check on Grandma
Rooney and I told Gracee to tell her what she had said
about Jesus... Gracee looked at Grandma Rooney and said
very matter of fact, "Jesus save me."
I love that she is talking better and better everyday because
I now know that some of what I am teaching her and reading
to is starting to sink in and be understood!
