And so it begins for the morning at least... Gracee found
Tylenol in my diaper bag and said to me "I need medi, my
tummy hurt." I then said to her "Gracee does your tummy
really hurt?" She began to tell me some big story and in
the middle of her story I understood the words "and I
throw up" I didn't know what to say but I couldn't help
but laugh out loud. She then got a little more adamant about
her story and proclaimed again "I THROW UP MOMMY"
I stopped laughing and told her I would go check, when I
came back from the bathroom Gracee had a sly little grin
on her face and said "I no throw up."
After we both got done laughing Gracee was on to her next
adventure... I was in Emme's room with her when I heard a faint "help me
mommy, help me." I recognized it as coming from the pantry
so I ran... Gracee had climbed nearly to the top and gotten
some mini marshmallows and wasn't sure how she was going to
get down. I lifted her down and she said "my tummy hurt, no."
The final notable story for the morning is Gracee getting into
my makeup. She goes straight for the lipstick every time and as
you can see from the picture she gets it everywhere but her lips
(Don't worry bar soap brought it right out of her white shirt.)
I must say even though I have cleaned up several messes
today I love Gracee and Emme! During most of this fun with
Gracee, Emme was having a morning nap. (She absolutely
loves the blanket Aunt Olivia made for her) Every night
Emme will be awake and I lay her in her crib and she
grabs her blanket and sucks on it and falls asleep. It is
her favorite.
