Our Non-Traditional Christmas

We saved our early entry day for Christmas day and it worked out great! The first few days of our trip were rainy so the crowds were sparse however with the good weather on Christmas day we knew it would crowded. The extra hour in the morning with fewer people is actually when we were able to ride the most rides.
Dumbo was packed all day yesterday so we were super excited that there were only five people in front of us.

We rode It's a Small world after all a couple of times... It is so fun all decorated for the Holidays.

Of course we rode Buzz Lightyear a few times:)
We love Peter Pan even though it always has a ridiculously long line!

I was a little sad to be missing Christmas breakfast for the first time EVER ok since I can remember. Anyway we tried to make up for it by getting a mickey mouse pancake.
It was not the usual yummy buffet we eat on Christmas morning but still it was good:)!

 One last Character siting!
We had already went to the parade but had to watch it again.
Emme was exhausted and when Olivia said to her "if you fall asleep you will miss the parade" she simply replied "it's alright" as she quickly faded.
Some favorites of the parade.
Again I watched Lucie the majority, her excitement was the best.
After the parade we called it a day.
I loved this break from Tradition (not that we didn't still talk about Christmas and talk about Christ's birth). It was nice to just be with family having FUN. I didn't stress about gifts or anything. We let Gracee, Emme and Lucie each get a souvenir and Santa did leave a few treats in their stocking. It definitely was a memorable Christmas.

I love it. I think that is a brilliant idea to just do a trip for Christmas. Your girls will always remember that. And SOOOOO cool that Aunt Ollie could come, too! Fun!
