April Fools

I don't know when or how it started but it seems like it has been months now that I hear on a daily basis "April Fools!" Gracee and Emme like to say silly things like "Daddy, nothing is in our house... April Fools!" It is always things that are quite obviously not true but occasionally Gracee gets me. One time she said "MOM, I peed my pants." We were in the car headed somewhere and I immediately fell for it and was about to go home when she got a huge grin on her face and said "April Fools!"
So when it was REALLY April Fools day I wanted to do something fun. A couple of years ago my sister gave me this really creative cupcake book which has several ideas in the April Fools section. We had so much fun making these.
Ruffin called some of our friends and told them I had been baking all day for a big family party. He then told them we had so much leftover food we didn't know what to do with it all and would like to bring them some. They said that would be great they were just getting done with the movie and hadn't eaten dinner yet... We took the t.v. dinner over and Emme was so excited she yelled "APRIL FOOLS!" before they even really looked at it.
I saw at the bookstore they have come out with a new cupcake book with even more fun ideas for April Fools, we can't wait to bake more food next year:)
