Lucie {9 months}

Dear Lucie,
You are getting so big! You are such a good baby and I am grateful beyond words to have you in our family. You are growing everyday and it is fun to watch your new accomplishments. You began to sit up when you were 6 1/2 mo. and crawling by 7 mo. Life has been busy since then!

The last couple of weeks you have started to say all done, more and hi. I thought I was losing it when you said all done at lunch but when I was telling your dad you said it for him with a lot of coaxing of course. The very next day your dad was trying to get you to say snake and I suggested he start with a little bit simpler word so he started to say ball to you and you looked at him and said "snake." The words are not perfectly clear but discernable and so adorable.

You love to put everything in your mouth especially the crayons your sisters drop on the floor when they are coloring. When Gracee and Emme are playing in the other room and you hear them you crawl to them as fast as you can. You laugh and smile when your sisters are doing naughty things which makes me laugh and it also makes it hard to discipline them when we are all laughing (Thank-you for helping me smile at times I could pull my hair out!)
You are a special little girl and I am grateful you are my daughter!

Lucie got her first two teeth at 7 months old
Her two top teeth came in quickly after that.
Here she is at nine months at her first visit to the Dentist. I would have waited till she was a year old but wanted her to be on the same six month schedule as her sisters.
Sporting her first ponytail. It was a stretch to get it all in but Gracee and I sure had fun doing it:)
Lucie has kept a majority of her hair and never really went bald. My favorite is her little wisps that always fall over her ears, she is constantly pulling on them and I am shocked they are still there.
Everyday we learn a little more about her personality. She can be a bit dramatic at times and we love it:)!
