I love Springtime and I love Easter! The new life that begins to grow and the time to reflect on the Resurrection of our Savior. I love the Savior and am grateful for what he did that makes it possible for us all to be Resurrected some day!
We had a great Easter day. We went to church (got to sing Olivia's favorite hymn in Sacrament meeting!;) had a very yummy dinner, played some games and of course were sad when it was time for family to leave!
While we were eating dinner we asked Gracee what she learned about in Primary and she quickly replied "Jesus". (This is what she says every week) so we asked if she learned about him rising from the dead and she said "yes." We weren't quite sure if she had really remembered her lesson until Ruffin asked her "what did Jesus say when he came out of the tomb?" Gracee quickly and loudly responded "Mary, Mary, Mary!" So perhaps she remembers more about Primary than I realize!
Olivia is always good to take a family picture of us... Thanks for getting one that we are all looking and smiling!

As for Easter dresses this year... Last year I realized that every other year since Gracee was born I had bought a dress and on the other years I had made dresses... This year was the year to buy dresses. I was thinking about next year and how I will have 3 girls and 3 dresses... It seems a little overwhelming so we will see what happens.
This year I ordered these dresses online and Gracee LOVED it because she thinks she looks just like a bride! When Emme first tried on her dress she thought it was itchy and did not want to have anything to do with putting it on again. Somehow we convinced her to put it on to get it fitted and she has loved it ever since.

Emme was the first one outside to get a picture and what she really wanted to do was sing
I am a Child of God and do a dance to it. I was wishing I had the video camera instead because she got pretty into it.

I thought this picture of Olivia and my girls turned out so cute. (Thanks again for spending Easter with us!)

Lastly I had to share this picture... Emme was in need of a nap after church and I had the camera in hand and I said "Emme, lets take a couple of pictures before we put you down for a nap." She looked at me with this look on her face and said "I happy, I not need a nap!" (A couple of days later when I had the pictures downloaded and we were looking at them Emme had this to say of this picture: "I being naughty! Why I being naughty in my bootiful dress?!") I love this little face!
