Tale as Old as Time...

I should have known that taking Gracee to Beauty and the Beast wouldn't be the smartest thing... I sometimes realize the obvious after the fact:) Gracee does not like anything in masks or costumes especially a big beast and wolves... She was so excited to go and actually did ok seeing the beast but when the wolves came running down the isles she got nervous. She then said to me "I go to the car, I lay down and take a nap, I REALLY need a nap." I think that was a first, Gracee saying she needed a nap. So during Intermission Ruffin took both Gracee and Emme to the car and they watched a movie while I finished watching the play with my mom.
Here are some pictures of my cousins Marianna (mrs potts) and Kera (the feather duster, I forget her name)

This morning Gracee woke up and said to me "mommy, lotta time I go to the school and I watch and the wools try to get Belles father and my daddy tell me those wools aren't real, they just boys, so I not be scared but then I watch booty and the beast and then I get in the car and I watch a movie with daddy and we have fun lotta time." I am pretty sure that she was telling me this big story to fully convince herself that she didn't need to be scared.

That's so funny, I took Maddy to the play last year and got the same reaction. Looks like it was lots of fun and even better you got to see your cousin in it.

Sometimes I just think, "Ah! to be young and in high school again? What would it be like?" I love that Marianna had to keep her arm up like that the whole time!
