I was giving Gracee a bath and needed to take her elastics out. As I started to take them out Gracee said "mommy Ollie say 'no take my elastics out,' alright mom." So I pretended to call her on the phone and told Gracee that Ollie changed her mind and said to take the elastics out. Gracee's eyes lit up as she discovered that she could use her hand for an imaginary phone... So of course Gracee called her Aunt Ollie right away and continued to stick with her story that Ollie said not to take the elastics out! It was a long thirty minutes of getting all eight elastics out!
Another funny thing Gracee said today...
I was talking to Gracee and after spending several hours yesterday with high school girls I was telling her how I wish she could stay little forever and never have to go to high school. She looked at me so distraught and said "Mommy, I not like boys, PLEase, I go to high school." I started laughing and reassured her I would let her go to High School when she got older... I had never mentioned anything about boys so I don't know where that came from but I do know that she is one smart girl if she has learned not to like boys:)

Always remember that it won't be difficult for Gracee to get me to take her side. She's such a little cutie! Love her!
She may not like boys, but they sure like her. If it keeps up this way, she'll be a heartbreaker for sure.
Well, yes, it is WAY fun to have a new short cut. I've seen some great ones in the last little bit...and YES, Eliza kisses and sleeps with her baby all the time. I guess it'll have to wait till she's old enough to talk to get a name. haha!
