Meeting Lilly!

My brother Jonathan picked us up from the airport and Gracee was super excited to see her Uncle Jona but a little disappointed Annie and Lilly weren't in the car. She got in and examined the car looking for them as is they were hiding... It's funny how little kids think and what they think is possible. She even lifted up one of the car mats to check to make sure they weren't under it.
It is a good thing Jonathan and Annie don't live too far from the airport because Gracee talked non-stop, she had to ask Jonathan if he knew all her favorite songs. It was funny she would say "Jona, know this one?, Cinderelly Cinderelly, Jona, know this one? Hi ho hi ho hi ho..."
We were all thrilled to meet Lilly and see just how cute that little curl is in person! After holding Lilly and eating lunch we headed to the swimming pool... I can't emphasize enough how much I enjoyed the nice weather! To be able to go swimming outside the end of October was a big change from freezing cold weather.
Also on the day we got there we helped them decorate their car as a Shark for their ward's trunk-or-treat. (It was by far the best dressed trunk there!) Gracee had fun going to all the different trunks and collecting candy. She started off shy but by the end would just shove the pail above her head and wait til she could feel the candy drop in. She went home with a ton of candy which we all enjoyed later:)
