{TEN} on Tuesday

A few things I am grateful for...

1. Bandaids. Emme got a paper cut on her finger and there was ALOT of drama that followed. The only thing that calmed her down was one small pink hello kitty bandaid.

2. Frozen Berries. I had run out of berries, which are a big part of our day because we always make smoothies. I decided to look through the freezer just in case I had missed a bag of them in the back of the freezer. I found raspberries and blueberries, they made for the best smoothie we had eaten in awhile! When Thursday came around and we went to the grocery store I stocked up and bought three bags of blueberries, two bags of strawberries, a bag of raspberries and blackberries. YUMMY!

3. Dinner parties at my house. My house always gets a little extra cleaning than I do on a regular week of cleaning.

4. Clean sheets. It is one of my favorite parts of the week. There is just something about crawling into a bed with clean fresh sheets.

5. Date night. This week we went out to dinner with friends and watched a movie. As much as I love my girls Friday always brings a much needed break for all of us.

6. The fact that I resisted not one but two impulse buys. Thursday we were out shopping for necessities, we had a list and we were focused... Then we stopped by sam's club and there two things not on my list I was sure I needed. I usually don't have the will power to pull such things out of my cart but I did and I am glad.

7. Family Home Evening. Some Mondays are a bit hectic and lessons seem rushed but yesterday was calm with little disruptions.

8. A day with nowhere to go. Today is one of those days. No errands to run, nothing. I love these days, today we will clean a little but not much, fold some laundry, play games and relax.

9. The nice lady at the Clinique counter. I was out of foundation and when I went to the mall to pick some up they were doing a presale for their bonus... I love bonus time at Clinique. I debated whether to just buy it or go without foundation for two weeks and wait for the bonus. I didn't have to do either though because the nice lady selling makeup told me I could do a presale with the foundation and she would send me home with enough sample to make until it was time to pick up the foundation and the BONUS! It worked out perfect and not only did she send me home with a large foundation sample but filled my bag with other good stuff! I was grateful for her kindness!!

10. Humidifiers. We have had ours running almost day and night this winter. Not only has it helped with colds but it has helped us keep almost static free in this dry weather.

My picture of the day from last week when I found those berries:)!

It's a sad day for us, too, when we run out of frozen berries!

Fun post!
Have you ever put fresh spinach in your smoothies? You can put up to a cup without even tasting it! If we are using see-through cups, we are sure to use dark berries, then you can't even tell it's green!
If you put too much it kindof tastes like ketchup :)
