Beautiful Bandaids

Gracee had a doctor appointment on Friday and she got her booster shots. We were talking to the doctor and Gracee ran to a corner and was telling us that she did NOT want to get her shots. Emme who had been chattering to the doctor from the moment he came in then told him she got shots and it "hurt really bad." This didn't help Gracee and it didn't help that the doctor and I couldn't help but laugh at Emme who was just being honest. I had to hold Gracee down but the nurses were able to get all four shots in her legs. I am relieved that Gracee does not need to get more shots until she is 11.
After we got done at the doctor we went to the park and rode the carousel and walked around the park a few times. While we were on our walk Gracee said "My bandaids are beautiful but my shots sure do hurt."
