Highlights and Mother's Day

We have had a lot going on this past week. Here are some of the Highlights:
*Ruffin's mom came for the week. We had so much fun with her here... I will post pictures of that later.
*I went to the Hospital to get Lucie's PKU with all three kids... All we did was go to the Lab and straight home and I was worn out!:)
*Emme decided to climb out of her crib last week so this week we moved her into a bed with Gracee. It has worked out really great. Gracee used to wake up in the middle of the night and come running into our room and crawl in our bed but for the past 3 or 4 nights she has been staying in her bed and snuggling with Emme.
*I had to get a root canal... It wasn't that bad in fact the most painful thing about the whole visit was the bite I took out of my cheek when the deadening was coming out.
*Emme decided she was done with diapers. (I feel like she decided to grow up all in one week!) She has had a few accidents but is doing great otherwise.
*I got all my laundry clean... My sister brought up the fact that I could do three full loads of pink... We definitely have a lot of girl clothes that go through the wash:)
*Emme and Lucie went to the doctor for check ups... Emme got a shot and was a very good sport about it. Lucie is growing and went for being in the 25th percentile for height to the 97th in just 2 weeks!
*I had the best mother's day ever!
My mother's day started with heart shaped blueberry pancakes. I then sent Ruffin, Grace & Emme to church while I stayed home with Lucie. I was a little sad not to get out of the house and go to church on Mother's day but got over it as soon as my girls walked in the door with the sweetest mother's day cards and flowers from Primary.

Gracee made these candy flowers for me and was so excited to give them to me. She was so sweet as she gave me a hug and said "Happy Mother's day!" (It is moments like this that I will keep in my heart forever!)
Emme made me a card in Nursery and as she came through the door she said "happy Birth... Happy Mother's day!" It was so sweet to get their hugs and kisses!
While everyone was taking naps except Gracee and I (we don't like to nap:) we went outside for a walk. Gracee was so cute when she saw these dandelions she went running up to them and said "Mommy look at these beautiful flowers, I pick them for Mother's day!"
I have never loved dandelions until this day. She picked this bouquet special just for me!
I got a little jar and Grace got the scissors and cut off the bottom of each dandelion and then put them in the jar. I loved it! It is getting things like this that make all the hard moments of being a mom slip from my memory!
This mother's day was great and I certainly have many things to be grateful for. At the top of my list are my three sweet girls! I feel blessed to be their mom and LOVE them SO much!!!
