Christmas Traditions

I love traditions and especially ones at Christmas time...
Here are some of the things we do:
1. My girls get new Holiday dresses that they start wearing at the beginning of December.
2. We watch Christmas movies all month long. This year we have watched Frosty the Snowman (over and over again), every time the cop swallows the whistle Gracee yells "MOM, he ate it again."
3. When we spend the Christmas holiday with Jonathan & Annie we celebrate Jonathan's birthday on the 23rd. This year I am looking forward to celebrating Emme's birthday on the 28th. 2 extra parties=TONS OF FUN!!!
4. We play tons of games. Every year we get a new family game for Christmas. My all time favorite memory of playing games is when we were playing would you rather with my Grandma Clark and she starting laughing so hard she started cry;)
5. We make lots and lots and lots of treats and eat them through the holidays... My favorite being sugar cookies. (This is definitely not a time for diets around here:)
6. We have a Christmas Eve party with my mom's family
7. We open a present on Christmas Eve (PJS) I am so excited for Gracee to see hers!
8. Christmas morning after we open presents we go to my Uncle Frank and Aunt Barbara's house for Christmas breakfast and to play games... I LOVE LOVE it, being with family is a big part of the Christmas magic!
9. We get our new ornaments on Christmas Eve that pertain to what we have been up to the past year... Last years Gracee's was a little girl rocking her doll. I asked her what she thought would be on her ornament for this year and she said without giving it a moments thought "CINDERELLY"
10. We get four gifts from Santa: Something we want, something to wear, something we need, and something to read... I have tried my hardest to stick to this:)
11. We make gingerbread houses.
12. We make cookies and decorate them to take to the neighbors.
I am grateful for my family and the traditions we have and the memories we are making!
