Grandma Rooney and Gracee

Gracee has been having so much fun with her Grandma lately. My mom is getting a lot better these days and will soon be going home... I don't look forward to seeing Gracee's reaction because she has loved having her here with us. My mom can now come up and down the stairs with a cane and is trying hard not to limb and not to let her leg bend. The doctor gave her some better medicine for her back and so she is not in very much pain she just gets tired and worn out. She has gotten plenty of rest but hasn't stopped quilting... She has nearly finished a king sized quilt which she has pieced by hand. ( You can see a little bit of it in the first picture). We are all so glad that she is now feeling better than she has in over a year!

Believe it or not we talked my mom into holding a snake with Gracee.
